The Staff

Helene Goupil, editor, developed a love of travel when her family left France for the US when she was eight years old. She has gone around the world twice, has worked in Japan and has spent time in Southeast Asia, Fiji, the Caribbean, Canada and Europe. She is a freelance travel and business writer.

Josh Krist, publisher and designer, has lived in London, Jerusalem, on a kibbutz in the Galilee, Paris and Kyoto. He's traveled across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and the US. He has ten years of journalism and magazine editing experience.

Amy Loftsgordon, contributing editor, has traveled extensively throughout Central America, South America, Africa, Europe and the U.S. She has worked for the Colorado International Trade Office and the International Human Rights Advocacy Center at the University of Denver. She currently works as an attorney and freelance writer.

Alex Robinson, contributing photo editor, began his travels in Europe, Mexico and all around Asia when he turned 30 in 1996—he says that he’s hooked on capturing the faces and places of the world. His next trip will include Thailand, Laos and possibly Northern Vietnam. Alex is the founder of www.photonirvana.com.
