While Americans have to wait a few more months for the release of the second guidebook, “Phaic Tan: Sunstroke on a Shoestring,” Australian readers are already raving about it. Tom Gleisner, co-author of these books, answered some questions, giving us an insider look at what type of travelers these writers are, really.. Tell us about yourself, where are you from and where you are right now. My name is Tom Gleisner, I live in Melbourne, Australia, and have worked for the past 20 years writing and producing comedy with my two co-authors Rob Sitch and Santo Cilauro.
What’s
"The Panel?" It looks like you have some great film credits, can you tell us more about the genre you like to write and produce? We’ve written and produced two feature films. The first was called “The Castle” (1997) and was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. |
